1. Information handled by the App
MultichRecord may handle the following information only as needed to provide the features you use:
- Audio: microphone or compatible external audio input used for recording, monitoring, playback, editing, and export.
- Local project data: recordings, track names, durations, audio settings, waveform data, file paths, and related project metadata.
- Preferences: settings such as audio configuration, interface choices, and recent project state.
- Temporary files: export copies created when you choose to share or save a project.
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment card details, contacts, precise location, photos, or advertising identifier. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
2. Microphone permission
Microphone access is requested when you use recording or monitoring features. Audio is processed and stored locally on your device. You may disable microphone access in iOS Settings, but recording features will no longer work.
3. How information is used
Information is used to record and play audio, display waveforms, apply edits and effects, save projects, restore your settings, export files, and perform actions you request. MultichRecord does not sell personal information, create advertising profiles, or use your recordings to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Storage, sharing, and deletion
Recordings, projects, preferences, and temporary exports are stored on your device. MultichRecord does not operate a cloud-sync service. Device backups, if enabled, are controlled by Apple and your iOS settings.
Files leave the App only when you initiate an export or use the iOS share sheet. The app, service, or recipient you select will process the shared file under its own privacy terms. You can delete projects in the App, remove exported files from their destination, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Deleting the App may permanently remove local data that has not been backed up.
5. Third-party components
MultichRecord includes software components used for layout, animation, archive handling, analytics, and reliability, including SnapKit, Lottie, ZIPFoundation, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Installations. Your recordings and project content are not sent to these providers.
6. Analytics, purchases, and diagnostics
Google Analytics for Firebase processes an app-instance identifier, app version, device and system information, screen views, sessions, feature interactions, and coarse location derived from the network connection. It may also receive App Store purchase and subscription event information, such as the product plan and transaction lifecycle. MultichRecord does not receive or send your payment card details.
Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Installations process crash reports, stack traces, app and device state, installation identifiers, and other diagnostic information used to identify failures and improve App reliability.
Analytics data is associated with a pseudonymous app instance rather than a MultichRecord account. Crash and other diagnostic data are not linked by MultichRecord to your identity. The App does not use these services for cross-app tracking, personalized advertising, or advertising profiles, and it does not collect IDFA.
Recordings, audio content, project names, filenames, file paths, connected-device names, hardware identifiers, and user-entered content are excluded from analytics and diagnostics. For more information about Google's processing, see the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Security and international processing
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect local files and limit access through iOS permissions and app storage. No storage method is completely secure, so you should keep your device protected and maintain backups of important work.
The current version does not transmit your recordings to servers operated by MultichRecord. Analytics and diagnostic data may be processed by Google in countries other than your own, subject to Google's privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards.
8. Children and your choices
The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You control microphone permission through iOS Settings, decide whether to export or share files, and can delete local data at any time. Because the current version does not maintain MultichRecord user accounts, most local-data choices can be exercised directly on your device. You can reset the App's pseudonymous installation state by deleting the App and its data, subject to data that Google or Apple must retain for legal, security, or transaction-record purposes.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when App features, data practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your privacy rights, notice will be provided in the App or through the App Store where required.
